romance gets read in private, with the cover turned down, by people who then have nowhere to put it. that's the part we're not interested in. every night we make starts from the assumption that you're going to want to talk about it.
no explaining yourself. no "it's a guilty pleasure." just a room full of people who already get it.

a lifelong vancouverite, lee is a game studio executive with 30 years of experience developing and producing video games with publishers such as blizzard, mojang and sega. a voracious reader and lover of all things romance, she wants to bring the joy of romance to more people in more spaces.
she read 345 romance books in 2025 and is aiming to beat that number in 2026.
Ghazal Elhaei
ghazal is a filmmaker, writer, and creative director, and the founder of capital g media. for 15+ years she has directed campaigns, films, and live experiences for over 250 companies. she now writes and directs modern romance and is developing her first feature.
she believes a good love story can save your whole week, and has never once been normal about a fictional couple.
